Senator Benjie E. Wimberly
New Jersey Senate | District 35
Each year I have represented your voice. This year will be no different.
About Me
It has been my privilege to serve in many roles—husband, father, coach, and Brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Each of these responsibilities has profoundly shaped my career, my passion for activism, and my deep commitment to public service. As a State Senator, I have come to understand that meaningful change is rooted in the strength of community. Every engagement with residents, every piece of legislation, and every act of service is a reminder that our collective well-being depends on the care and connection we foster with one another. I’m truly humbled by the opportunity to give back to the community that has given me so much. You can’t spell Benjie without NJ—because, at the heart of it all, it’s the people of this great state who inspire and guide everything I do.
